A 7-month-old boy who was allegedly pushed from the fourth floor of a parking garage Monday died from his injuries Wednesday, Reuters reported.

Sonia Hermosillo allegedly took her son, Noe Medina Jr., to the parking garage of the Children's Hospital of Orange County and tossed him over the railing of the fourth floor. He was taken to the UC Irvine Medical Center.

Orange police spokesman Dan Adams said there was enough evidence to believe that the fall was intentional.

We're certain that she did it on purpose, let's put it that way, Adams said, Reuters reported.

Neighbors described Hermosillo as a happy and lovely mother.

Teresita Alcala is the daughter of the apartment manager where the family lived. She described the family to the Los Angeles Times as normal and peaceful.

You would never hear them yelling or arguing, she told the LA Times.

Hermosillo is being held on a $1 million bond and has an immigration hold.

Her husband, Noe Medina, said his wife was hospitalized in May for depression and that she was not allowed to be alone with the baby, according to KTLA Channel 5.

Median and Hermosillo have two other children.

Noe Jr. had congenital muscular torticollis and went to the children's hospital twice a week for therapy.

She didn't look at our son as normal, Medina told the Orange County Register. She didn't accept him. She didn't accept that he was like this.
