A woman who claimed she was shamed for breastfeeding her son at Disneyland has clapped back at her haters in a cheerful picture.

The woman, identified as Brittni Medina, was with her 10-month-old son and husband at Disneyland, Anaheim, California, when the incident took place. According to Medina, her baby needed to be fed and as she was standing in a line and did not wish to lose her spot, she started nursing him openly.

She described how two women openly made loud comments, asking her to go to the bathroom to feed her baby. Medina, who shared the whole incident on a Facebook account, said she did not let the women's comments bother her and immediately asked her husband to click a picture of herself, completely at ease while nursing, The Daily Mail reported.

She captioned the picture saying she did not post it to get attention but to clarify that no woman should be shamed for breastfeeding in public.

“These women were making snarky comments so I moved from my spot to catch a picture of these characters. Not for attention to me but attention to the fact NO WOMEN SHOULD BE SHAMED FOR FEEDING THEIR BABY UNCOVERED,” she wrote.

As soon as Medina shared her story, a lot of women spoke up in support of breastfeeding, and left encouraging messages on her Facebook post.

Facebook user Tanika J Lothery commented, “Feed your baby, Mama!! They don't have to cover their heads or sit in a bathroom while eating and your baby doesn't have to either!! Go, Mom! ❤ If her baby was screaming and crying from hunger, people would complain about that! My "baby" is 18 now and I breastfed her everywhere! Proud of you!”

Another user, Kells Ries wrote breastfeeding is one of the most natural things in the world and no one should be shamed for it.

“HELL YEAH! WHIP THAT TIT OUT AND FEED THAT BOY! I always, shamelessly, feed my 18-month-old son when he wants it. Breastfeeding is the most natural thing on the planet if you don’t like it then get off the t-ts."

Medina can be seen smiling ear to ear in the picture, completely at ease with herself even after the women’s nasty comments.

“I actually stepped a little over to get them in the picture because they were talking loudly saying how I should go to the restroom to feed. I was happy my husband could capture me and my son happily feeding and I thought the looks on their faces were priceless. I mean, how could they be so mad?” Medina told Popsugar.

She added though she used to cover up while breastfeeding her eldest son, she stopped practicing it with her other child since she believes covering up while nursing does not prevent people from judging her.

“I covered with my first son, but honestly people will complain no matter what you do!” she said.
