Excited holidayers brought two of California theme park resorts to a temporary standstill on Tuesday. Disneyland recorded full capacity within two hours of opening, forcing the park management to send away scores of guests from its gates. Disney California Adventure also temporarily shut out the holiday visitors due to overcrowding.

For the second day in a row, 55-year-old world famous theme park had to halt admissions as the holiday offers coupled with great weather lured in guests in numbers larger than the park capacity.

The park stopped selling tickets at 10 a.m. on Tuesday and directed the visitors to another park in the Disneyland Resort complex, California Adventure.

Three hours later, Disneyland California Adventure also experienced overcrowding and was forced to suspend ticket sales briefly. It was reopened later in the afternoon.

Florida's Disney World, however, has not reported any overcrowding.
