“Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare” will launch one day early at national gaming retailer GameStop, reaching buyers on Monday. The first-person shooter game will be available on the PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

GameStop will be hosting midnight launch events for the highly anticipated game across the country, which will include tournaments and giveaways, and players will also be able to experience “Advanced Warfare” in stores.

Players who purchase the game’s “Day Zero Edition” at GameStop also will receive double XP all day Monday, allowing them to level up quickly. Additional bonus in-game content will also be included, such as the Advanced Arsenal bullet brass exoskeleton and EM1 Quantum weapon, the AK-12G Assault Rifle and Crossbow-B2 custom weapons.

Beginning at 6 p.m. on Sunday, more than 4,100 GameStop stores will keep their doors open late to host launch events for the game, with “Advanced Warfare” available for purchase starting just after midnight. Beginning Friday through Nov. 9, customers who trade in their PlayStation 3 devices of 20 GB or more or their Xbox 360 consoles of 240 GB or more will receive $125 in-store credit when applied to a new PlayStation 4.

The limited edition Xbox One version of “Advanced Warfare” is available at GameStop for $449 on Monday.

“Advanced Warfare” was developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision. The game will take place in 2054, when a new type of combat exists. “House of Cards” star Kevin Spacey will play Jonathan Irons, the CEO and founder of “Atlas,” the largest private military company in the world. Atlas is responsible for the creation and development of some of the most advanced technologies on the planet, and engages in shady and secret operations with anyone who pays him enough.

Irons wages war against America because of his belief that the country hasn’t successfully installed democracies in various areas on Earth. He also believes America continues to waste its resources on changing the global balance of power.
