Hence the major attractions in HTC Eternity is expected to be the 4.7-inch display screen, as it will be first smartphone to feature it -- and German site HTCInside has claimed that the HTC smartphone could be the company's first to come with the latest version of Microsoft Windows Phone 7, codenamed Mango.

In May Microsoft had informed about Window phone software update which is expected to bring 500 new features with the inclusion of Internet Explorer 9, Twitter and LinkedIn feeds integrated into contact cards, automated Facebook check-ins and bringing access to more than 17,000 downloadable applications. The update to the Windows Phone operating system may put Microsoft in race with Google and Apple OS. Moreover some sources point that Eternity may be released in September along with Windows Phone 7 OS.
