Canada released its CPI for October showing a decline as it came in at -0.1%; worse than the forecasted reading of 0.1% and the prior reading of 0.0%, while for the year ending October came in at 0.1% as expected from -0.9%.

As for the Core CPI for October it came in at 0.1%; higher than the forecasted reading if 0.0% but lower than the prior reading of 0.3%, whereas for the year ending October it climbed to 1.8%, which is actually better than the predicted reading of 1.7% and the prior reading of 1.5%.
