Canada released on one hand its CPI for August that came in at 0.0%; worse than the forecasted reading of 0.1% but better than the prior reading of -0.3%, while that the CPI for the year ending August came in at -0.8%, which is worse than the predicted reading of -0.7% and the prior reading of -0.9%.

On the other hand, the Core CPI for August came in as expected at 0.1% as and higher than the prior reading of 0.0% whereas for the year ending August it came in as forecasted as well at 1.6%; lower than the prior reading of 0.0%.
