The suspected shooter was identified as Michael Zehaf-Bibeau. Cpl. Nathan Cirillo, 24, was killed Wednesday while he stood guard at the memorial.

It was not revealed if the suspected shooter worked alone, or if there were other assailants.

The prime minster said Canada would not be intimidated during a press conference.
