FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Building permits have decreased 1.7% in Canada in September from August, while the value of permits decreased to $ 6.2 billion in September from $6.3 billion in August, according to the latest report by Statistics Canada.

Non residential permits decreased 8.6% to an amount of $2.2 billion, which means the lowest level in the last five months, and $ 1.0 billion below its peak in May this year. Permits for residential homes, however, have increased 2.6% to $4.0 billion.
