FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Retail sales have increased in April in Canada, after weak performances in the previous two months, which were attributed to adverse weather conditions, according to the latest report by Statistics Canada.

Retail sales increased 0.6% in April from March, and 1.1% excluding autos. By sectors, sales increased in six out of the eight sectors, with three advancing above 1.0%. Year on year, sales rose 4.2%.
