FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Unemployment rate has remained unchanged in Canada in February despite the 43,000 net jobs created, according to the latest employment report by StatCan.
Employment posted in January an increase similar to that of January, when 46,000 net jobs were created. In the last twelve months, employment has grown 2.2% in Canada, with 361,000 new jobs created.
Construction was the main motor of employment creation in February, followed by public administration; and professional, scientific and technical services. Manufacturing and natural resources have posted a loss of employments.
