It's a time-honored tradition for adult Americans. You've decided to buy a digital single-lens reflex camera, the kind with the $250 interchangeable lenses. It's an important decision because they both cost nearly $1,000, but the Canon EOS Rebel T3i and Canon EOS 60D both have gotten rave reviews. Additionally, they both take such great photos, you may never have to buy another camera for the rest of your life. Like so many things, we prefer to keep photography simple. However the camera world can be confusing, so allow us to say that you won't be sorry if you buy either of these cameras.

In fact, the T3i and 60D are considered two of the best cameras available now. Of course, there are more powerful professional style cameras out there, but we believe, for the price, these two are better buys. A final note before the slideshow; there is a new class of camera out there called mirrorless DSLR cameras, and they take up the space between the point and shoot cameras and DSLR's. They are still a bit expensive, but the technology is for sure one to watch as far as cameras are concerned. Begin the slideshow to see how the T3i and 60D stack up. Let us know in the comments if you think their worth the price, or if you think point and shoot cameras are good enough for half the price.
