Ever since Marvel made its movie plans through 2019 public, more die-hard fans are looking ahead to what the next few years of Marvel movies will be. Now, one key “Thor 3” star is teasing her involvement in the next movie in 2017, as well as how it will tie into “Captain America: Civil War” in 2016.

Although Thor is one of the very few heroes who won’t appear in the major crossover event that the “Civil War” is becoming, it seems that the Asgardian hero won’t be left out of the conflict entirely. Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, actress Jaimie Alexander, who plays Lady Sif in both the “Thor” movies as well as “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” teased Easter eggs that will set up “Thor: Ragnarok” hidden in “Civil War.”

“Yeah, there’s a lot of great stuff they’ve peppered in through ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,’ ‘The Avengers,’ [‘Captain America: Civil War’] will have some stuff,” she said. “There's just all kind of Easter eggs and hints, if you’re really paying attention. They’re so good at interweaving everything throughout those films.”

The actress also mentioned Lady Sif, who we learned had a bit of a crush on the title hero played by Chris Hemsworth, will play a “pivotal part” in “Ragnarok.” Lady Sif is one of the warriors with whom Thor surrounds himself in Asgard. She’s also gained fan’s favor thanks to multiple guest appearances in Marvel’s connected TV universe “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” but it’s unclear what the future holds for the people of Asgard during this difficult time.

When last we left the great city, Thor’s brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) was posing as his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and acting as king of the realm. Believe it or not, that’s the least of Thor’s problems in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The last time fans saw Thor at the end of “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” [SPOILER ALERT] he revealed someone is playing an intricate game to get all of the very powerful infinity stones in one place. He left Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Captain America (Chris Evans) to fight among themselves while he went in search of the cosmic foe responsible for the whole mess. This has led sites like CinemaBlend to speculate the infinity stones and the Mad Titan Thanos might make appearances in the 2017 "Thor" film.

Fans will just have to wait until “Captain America: Civil War” hits theaters in 2016 to spot the Easter eggs Alexander is talking about to set up “Thor: Ragnarok” in 2017.
