Carlos Danger is making a cameo.
Disgraced former congressman Anthony Weiner will help close out the first season of Amazon’s Capitol Hill-related comedy “Alpha House” as himself. The season finale of the show can be streamed Friday on the e-commerce site.
Starring John Goodman and Mark Consuelos, “Alpha House” tells the story of four fictional Republican senators who share a rental home together in Washington, D.C. The series’ tagline is “Debate. Legislate. Cohabitate.”
Weiner, who fell from grace and out of the New York City’s mayor’s race this summer when he was rocked by another sexting scandal, used the alias "Carlos Danger" while chatting with Sydney Leathers. Weiner won’t be the only guest star on the season finale of “Alpha House.” According to Politico, ex-Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele, former newsman Tom Brokaw and CNN analyst Jeffrey Toobin will also be making cameos on the Amazon show.
The series is based on Democrats and roommates Chuck Schumer of New York, George Miller of California, Dick Durbin of Illinois and Bill Delahunt of Massachusetts. The senators’ roommate arrangement was featured in the New York Times in 1997, and the house recently made news when Durbin said that the apartment had a rat problem.
