Carmen Electra, ex-wife of Dennis Rodman and Dave Navarro, has called off her engagement to Filter rocker, Rob Patterson. The couple announced plans to marry in 2008 but the relationship has reportedly ended, although they are still living in the same house.

A source told Life & Style magazine, It's off. She hasn't been wearing her ring for a while, but they're good friends and it's been really hard for them to fully separate.

The insider added, Carmen's really nervous about getting back into the dating pool, so keeping Rob around makes her feel less anxious about being single. It's not like they'll get back together. The romance part is dead. They're done.

Getting back into the dating pool might be easy for Carmen Electra after all, as the model and dancer is set to star in a new reality dating show, The Choice. Each of the six one-hour episodes of the show will features four celebrities listening to prospective non-famous lovers giving their best lines until the decision is narrowed down to the three, according to the Daily Mail. The non-famous contestants will not know which celebrity he or she is wooing.

Carmen Electra will star in the show alongside Sophie Monk, Hope Dworaczyk, Miss USA 2010 Rima Fakih , Rob Kardashian, The Jersey Shore's Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino & Pauly D, model Tyson Beckford, boy bander Joe Jonas, former Superman Dean Cain, chef Rocco DiSpirito, rapper Romeo and American Idol's Taylor Hicks, the Daily Mail reported. Cat Deeley will host the reality series.

The [female contestants] took it ridiculously seriously, like they were getting married, FOX's alternative series guru Mike Darnell told Entertainment Weekly. A couple of the setups really had chemistry.

The reality series will premiere this summer.
