Carrie Underwood is officially a mom! The country singer and her husband Mike Fisher announced Tuesday that they recently welcomed their first child. The baby, which the performer previously confirmed was a boy, was born Feb. 27.

“Tiny hands and tiny feet… God has blessed up with an amazing gift!” Underwood, 31, announced via Instagram and Twitter. “Welcome to the world, sweet angel!” The announcement was posted alongside an image of the newborn’s hand.

So what did the couple name their baby boy? Underwood revealed that the tot was gifted with a biblical moniker, Isaiah Michael. The Hebrew name means “salvation of the Lord,” according to BabyCenter.com. The U.S. Government and Social Security Administration lists the name was the 44th most popular in the U.S. in 2015.

Underwood last discussed the child's impending arrival and potential baby names last month during an interview with People Magazine. “We don’t have a baby name. We need to lock that down here pretty soon,” the “Blown Away” singer dished.

Despite having trouble deciding on a name with her husband of five years, she said finding a moniker to match his last name was not an issue. “We joke a lot about funny things that go with Fisher,” Underwood said of her 34-year-old athletic husband. “That’s not some family name that I have had to be like, ‘No! That’s terrible!’” she said.

Underwood announced she was expecting a boy onstage at the 2014 County Music Association Awards in November. She first revealed she was expecting in September on Instagram.
