The teaser is just the beginning of the marketing leading up to the release of “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” which will hit theaters on Nov. 22, notes IMDb. Francis Lawrence (“I Am Legend”) took over the directorial gig from Gary Ross.

Lawrence will also direct the adaptation of the third “Hunger Games” book, “Mockingjay,” which will be split up into two movies.

Jennifer Lawrence will return as Katniss Everdeen, as will Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark), Woody Harrelson (Haymitch Abernathy) and Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne). “Catching Fire” will also introduce two previous victors of the Hunger Games, Johanna Mason, played by Jena Malone (“Sucker Punch”), and Finnick Odair, played by Sam Claflin (“Snow White and the Huntsman”).

Los Angeles Times’ Hero Complex reports the full trailer will be unveiled by Hemsworth at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, which will air on April 14 at 9 p.m. EDT. “Catching Fire” follows Katniss and Peeta’s victory in the Hunger Games and the two begin the Victory Tour, where victors travel around Panem, visiting each District with the Capitol being the final stop of the tour.

The teaser, to the possible teaser trailer, of “Catching Fire” shares a very brief look of Katniss and Peeta as they are being introduced to the residents of District 11. Elizabeth Banks, playing Effie Trinket, is with the two winners of the 74th Hunger Games. District 11 is important to Katniss as the home of Rue, a young Tribute who died during the Hunger Games.
