Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra are considering having another child, the “Teen Mom OG” star tells IBT. MTV

“Teen Mom OG” hasn’t starred airing new episodes just yet but that hasn’t stopped Catelynn Lowell from finding herself in the middle of drama.

After posting a pregnancy prank on Instagram earlier this month, the reality star faced backlash from fans of the MTV docuseries. And while the image may have been a joke— Catelynn says it was her response to continuous pregnancy rumors— she and husband Tyler Baltierra are considering expanding their family of three she tells International Business Times.

“We’re definitely looking into it,” Catelynn revealed to IBT. While Catelynn says enjoying spending time with their daughter Nova, 2, is one reason they haven’t taken the plunge yet, that’s not the only thing holding them back.

“Postpartum’s a scary thing. That’s also what holds me back a bit too. I’ve told Tyler that I get anxious about having another baby because of postpartum,” Catelynn said.

I’m like I could be one and done even though, deep down, I really want to have more but it’s just a scary thing. That’s what I fight with in my mind. It’s like either you go through it or you don’t have anymore and stay healthy.

And while pregnancy rumors may bother her, Catelynn says she understands why “Teen Mom OG” fans are interested in her and Tyler welcoming another child. “I think people are invested because they watched us place our first one [Carly, 7] and they see us with our second. I think people just get really excited for us,” she said.

One year after battling postpartum depression, Catelynn says she’s doing well and Tyler, who is shown battling issues of his own in the Season 2B premiere, is recovering nicely after going to therapy.

“He’s OK. He’s doing good. He noticed it was coming because she struggled with it when he was younger. I feel everybody always gets some kind of depression,” Catelynn said.

“Teen Mom OG” returns to MTV on Monday, April 17.
