An Amber Alert was issued in the Cathedral City, California, when an unknown suspect stole a white Honda Accord, with two Hispanic male toddlers aged 1 and 2. The incident happened around 6:44 p.m. EDT in the 31500 block of Whispering Palms Trail, according to the Cathedral City Police Facebook post.

The vehicle with the license plate 7TJR654, was last seen heading towards Ramon Road, the main commuting route connecting the town to Palm Springs on the west and the 10 Freeway and Thousand Palms to the east, said the post.

The car is a 2016-make white Honda Accord, with all of its windows tinted, according to local reports.

Cathedral City police released a recent picture of the stolen vehicle.

The police said that the boys were inside their babysitter's car when she stepped out for an errand and when she returned, the car was gone. There were no details about the person who kidnapped the boys. According to the Amber Alert, the toddlers were sitting in the backseat. One of them, Jayden was described as a one-year-old boy with brown hair, brown eyes and weighing about 30 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue shorts, and Carlos, the two-year old boy weighed 40 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes. Police could not say what he was wearing at the time of abduction, local reports said.

The suspect still remains unknown. The police have asked anybody who sees either Jayden, Carlos, or the stolen vehicle to call 911 immediately, or call the Cathedral City Police Department. Any information that could be helpful for the investigators must be passed on to them.
