Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE To Be Available On Verizon In Coming Weeks Samsung

The LTE version of Galaxy Note 10.1 would be launched on Verizon this month, Samsung announced at the 2013 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas Monday.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE on Verizon will almost be the same as that of the original model of the device available. However, it will also have some key additions like the 4G LTE connectivity and the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. The device’s price is yet to be announced.

Samsung also revealed that the device would support the company’s multi-window feature, giving the users the ability to utilize two different applications side-by-side simultaneously. They can view the web pages or videos or launch other applications on one part of the screen while writing or sketching ideas with the S Pen stylus on the other half of the screen without having to toggle back and forth between apps.

Samsung claims that the S Pen has 1,024 levels of pressure sensitivity. The stylus is embedded directly into a slot in the Galaxy Note 10.1, which activates a taskbar with a quick access to the optimized S Pen apps such as S Note, Adobe Photoshop Touch, Polaris Office and Kno.

Galaxy Note 10.1 features a 1280 x 800 display resolution and is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 6GB, 32GB, and 64GB storage options.

The device also sports a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera and a 7,000mAh battery.

Ever since its global debut last year, rumors had been rife that Samsung was working on an LTE version of Galaxy Note 10.1. On Monday, the company just confirmed the same.
