Chad Michael Murray Tweets About Newborn Son And Wife Sarah Roemer

Congratulations are in order for Chad Michael Murray and Sarah Roemer. The couple, who only recently wed, welcomed a new addition to their family over the weekend.

E! News reports Roemer gave birth to a baby boy, which is the first child for her and her hubby. Murray shared the good news on Twitter while apologizing to former Buffalo Bills player Jim Kelly for having to miss out on the 29th Annual Jim Kelly Celebrity Classic VIP Gala. The 33-year-old Buffalo, New York native shared with Kelly, as well as his thousands of followers, that although the event was one of his favorites, he could not attend due to the birth of his child.

According to People magazine, Murray and Roemer met while filming "Chosen." They began dating in August 2014 and were secretly married in January of this year. News of their pregnancy broke at the same time it came out that they had tied the knot. Reps for the couple confirmed the exciting news, telling the magazine they were “extremely happy and excited.” Shortly after the story came out Murray tweeted a message of gratitude, letting his fans know how much he and his new wife appreciated all the “incredible tweets & kindness.”

This is the second time Murray has married a co-star. In 2005 he and fellow “One Tree Hill” star Sophia Bush got married after two years of dating. They decided to annul the union just five months later. According to 2006 article from People, Bush cited fraud as her reason for ending their marriage.

Neither Murray nor Roemer have said any more about their son’s birth. His name remains unknown at this time.
