Jenna Dewan turned 36 today, and one of the best gifts she received on her special day was probably the sweet birthday greeting from her loving husband, Channing Tatum.

Tatum gave Dewan a birthday shoutout on Instagram, and in it, the actor reminded everyone how lucky he is to have her in his life.

Dewan and Tatum, also 36, met for the first time on the set of the 2006 romantic dance film “Step Up,” in which they played the lead roles. The two started dating shortly after filming had wrapped up.

According to People, Tatum popped the big question to Dewan in Maui in front of their close friends back in 2008. The following year, the pair tied the knot at Church Estates Vineyards in Malibu, California. The pair is now parents to daughter Everly Elizabeth Maiselle Tatum, who was born in 2013 in London, England.

It’s unclear how Dewan and Tatum celebrated her birthday this year. But last year, Dewan revealed to Entertainment Tonight that the two of them went on a little adventure on her special day.

“We had a nice fun adventure on my birthday,” Dewan told the news outlet at the Los Angeles premiere of Tatum’s film “The Hateful Eight” last December. “We rode motorcycle up and down the coast. That was really fun. Scary and fun. And it was a nice surprise. [Channing’s] always really good at surprises.”

Aside from Tatum, Dewan’s fellow actress and close friend, Emmanuelle Chriqui, also took to Instagram to greet the birthday girl. In her post, Chriqui revealed the things she likes most about Dewan and let her know that she will always be there for her no matter what.

Dewan also took to Instagram to thank everyone who greeted her on her birthday.

Dewan, who recently appeared on the CW’s “No Tomorrow” and “Supergirl,” currently has no known acting projects coming up. Tatum, meanwhile, will be next seen in the films “Kingsman: The Golden Circle” and “Logan Lucky,” which are both set to hit theaters in October 2017.
