Charlie White, the 2014 Sochi Olympic gold medalist, might not have taken home the Mirror Ball trophy on Season 18 of “Dancing with the Stars,” but Tuesday the figure skater revealed on Instagram that girlfriend Tanith Belbin accepted his proposal! He and Belbin shrugged off rumors of a conection with ice dance partner Meryl Davis, clearly comfortable in their relationship.

"Couldn't ask for a more beautiful setting for the best time in our life! Hashtag she said yes!!!" the 26-year-old Olympian wrote. He shared a picture of the couple -- Belbin also is an Olympic figure skater -- posing in Hawaii.

Two hours after White posted his engagement picture, more than 20,000 IG followers had liked the image, which also generated hundreds of comments and well wishes.

"I promised myself I wouldn't do this. But I think Hawaii took that as a challenge 'cause dang! Look at that!" the skater added, with a snapshot of a rainbow appearing above the ocean, three days before he announced his engagement to Belbin.

White told Us Weekly in May he was looking forward to moving in with his longtime girlfriend after “DWTS” was over. White placed fifth with partner Sharna Burgess while Davis went on to win the trophy with pro dancer and “DWTS” favorite Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

"I'm very much looking forward to moving in," White told the news site after he was eliminated on May 12. "It's by a river and I'm going to be walking with her and my dog alongside the river, taking a break -- it's been a crazy year, and it's time to breathe!"

Moving in with his fiancee isn't the only change in White's life. He also recently cut his signature hair that fans grew to love by watching him skate in Sochi and dance on the "DWTS" ballroom floor. He posted a photo of his new 'do with Belbin and his hair stylist, Gjoni Camaj, the man responsible for his new look.
