Charlize Theron can now add a new title to her resume, new mother. The upcoming Snow White and The Huntsman actress has just adopted a baby boy. A statement from the Oscar winners rep read, She is the proud mom of a healthy baby boy named Jackson.

No other details have been provided, but a source told People Magazine that the 36-year-old has been trying to adopt a baby for a long time. Jackson is the first child for Theron, who was born in South Africa.

Theron, a single mom, split from her boyfriend, actor Stuart Townsend in 2010 after nine years together. According to the People Magazine insider, Theron is receiving help raising the baby. Charlize's mom [Gerda] has been helping out with the baby, says the insider. She seems happy and will be a great mom.
