Chelsea's exit-bound French striker Nicolas Anelka has finally agreed to the terms with Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua, according to the Chinese club.

It was previously reported that the French striker was growing impatient with watching his team play from the sidelines and was considering a move to the Chinese club in order to guarantee first team football, and a deal had also been put in place.

Nicolas Anelka, along with Ivorian Didier Drogba, has fallen down the pecking order of the current Chelsea squad with the entry of players like Fernando Torres, Daniel Sturridge, Juan Mata and even Romelu Lukaku and both the players are looking for a move elsewhere that would guarantee them first team place. Anelka, 32, according to the Chinese club, has agreed to the deal and is just now left to sign the contract.

Anelka, who has been Chelsea's top scorer in the Premier League last season, is reportedly a part of Shenhua's ambitious dreams of raising their profile across the world, and now it has also been rumored that the club's next target maybe Chelsea's contract rebel and Anelka's team-mate Didier Drogba, 33, whose contract is set to expire next summer.

The Chinese club, however, has remained tight-lipped about any details of the club being interested in Drogba's services but has said that nothing, of now, is confirmed. Drogba has also attracted attention from U.S. based club LA Galaxy after former star David Beckham expressed his desire to leave.

Anelka is currently training with Chelsea's second team, according to a Caughtoffside report.
