If the latest reports are to be believed, Premiership heavyweights Chelsea and Manchester City are preparing a handsome summer bid for Italian Serie A side Napoli’s talented Uruguayan hitman Edinson Cavani when the transfer window opens.

Although Cavani, 25, has left his current club to decide on his future, the Uruguay international has attracted a host of suitors following his brilliant form this season for the Italian club. However, Napoli, currently, are not certain about a Champions League place next season and could be forced to sell some of their star players in the summer transfer window.

Nonetheless, Cavani, according to a Talksport report, was clear that the choice to leave or stay back when the current season ends is not really up to him at the moment and he will be satisfied with the what the club decides.

“I don’t know - the club will deal with this sort of thing. I am focused only on playing my football and winning every game, the striker told Sky Sport Italia. “The club will think about the rest and they know what to do. For as long as I am at Napoli, I will continue to give my all for this team.”

Cavani, who arrived at Napoli from Serie A side Palermo in 2010, has made as many as 90 appearances for the Stadio San Paolo-based side and has already managed to score 62 times in all competitions thus far.
