Miley Cyrus just cannot escape the negative criticism, even weeks after her now-infamous performance of “Blurred Lines” with Robin Thicke. Now, iconic singer Cher is giving her input on the 20-year-old’s antics.

"I'm not old-fashioned," Cher tells USA TODAY in an interview while promoting her new album, “Closer to the Truth.” "She could have come out naked, and if she'd just rocked the house, I would have said, 'You go, girl.' It just wasn't done well. She can't dance, her body looked like hell, the song wasn't great, one cheek was hanging out. And, chick, don't stick out your tongue if it's coated. If you're going to go that far, then think about it before you do it," the 67-year-old went on to say.

Cyrus, who is now single after she and Liam Hemsworth ended their engagement, wore latex underwear on stage during the show. Her wild antics included sticking her tongue out as she twerked on Thicke, nuzzling his neck and touching his groin with a giant foam hand.

After the performance, Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour reportedly chose not to put Cyrus on the cover of the elite fashion magazine's December issue. A source told the Daily Mail, "Anna found the whole thing distasteful. She decided, based on Miley’s performance, to take the cover in a different direction.” Cyrus reportedly had already been photographed for the December issue, and this would have been her first cover for the iconic Conde Nast magazine.

Even the “We Can’t Stop” singer’s former fiancé, Liam Hemsworth, was reportedly embarrassed by the raunchy display, and it played a major role in their split.
