On Wednesday, Chevy launched its Spark and Sonic models with the technology in place, as promised. A system called Chevrolet MyLink allows iPhone users to easily integrate smartphone capabilities to make hands-free requests of Siri. Drivers can simply speak out loud to play their favorite iTunes songs, make calls, compose text messages, and update their calendars.
Both feature a button mounted conveniently on the steering wheel so that users need never take their hands off the wheel or eyes off the road, a feature that could give Apple’s iPhone an advantage over Android devices among those buying the new Chevy models.
