Oscar presenter, Oprah Winfrey, sure had fun
Media tycoon Oprah Winfrey has shown that presenting the Oscars is really much easier than accepting the gold statue. Calculated and collected, the Queen of Talk had done her job pretty well as presenter at 83rd Academy Awards. And she was most pleased and satisfied with herself as she was heard saying to no one in particular when she got off the stage: "That was fun", in what sounded like summing up what it's like to present an Oscar. The people of Chicago has honored popular talk show host Oprah Winfrey by renaming the street outside of Harpo Studios, Oprah Winfrey Way.

Chicago Mayor Richard Daley had announced the renaming on Wednesday.

Oprah said she was deeply moved by the love shown by the people of Chicago.

That's better than an Oscar or an Emmy, Oprah said.

It is really just a full circle, miracle story…that a little colored girl born in Kosciusko, Mississippi, on a red dirt road ends up with my name on a street in the greatest city in the world, Chicago, she said, adding, I genuinely feel appreciated and loved by this audience that has grown up with me. Which, for me, is a huge, huge, huge accomplishment.

Oprah and Chicago share a special bond as this was the city where she had filmed her popular talk show for the past 25 years.
