“Chicago P.D.” was back this week with not one but two episodes. After airing the crossover episode and another that introduced newbie Kenny Rixton (Nick Wechsler) to the Intelligence unit, NBC will air another episode next week that focuses on a special police force and Erin Lindsay (Sophia Bush).

In Season 4, episode 11 of the police procedural, the Intelligence unit will find the mutilated body of a sex offender. At first, it is unclear if his death is a result of a hate crime, a case of sexual assault or self-mutilation. But as the team continues their investigation, it becomes clearer that the offender might have been killed by a special and private police force. They may be covering up illegal activities.

The promo of the upcoming episode, titled “You Wish,” gives a sneak peek into this special police force who aren’t afraid to do unlawful things. They are seen assaulting a possible drug user and abusing their power.

While the team solves the case of the week, Lindsay will be busy dealing with the introduction of her biological father, Jimmy (Tony Crane), in her life. Last episode, Lindsay’s boyfriend Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) checked Jimmy’s financial records to see if he was looking for a handout. When he came up clean and stable, Halstead offered to run his DNA test.

In Season 4, episode 11, Halstead will run that DNA test to determine if Jimmy really is her biological father. It will be a suspense-filled episode for fans of “Chicago P.D.” as they wait for the test’s results.

Although Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) is on an undercover assignment, he will be seen in the upcoming “Chicago P.D.” episode. Flueger has been listed in the cast of episode 11.

Catch “Chicago P.D.” Season 4, episode 11 on Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 10 p.m. EST on NBC.
