FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Economic activity in the Chicago area has failed to grow for its fifth consecutive month in June, although prices have declined somewhat, and the employment index has improved substantially.

In June, the seasonally adjusted Chicago Purchasing Managers' Index has moved up to 49.6 from 49.1 in May. The Prices paid index has declined to 85.5 in June from 87.5 in May, and the Employment index has increased to 46.7 in June from 41.2 in May. The new orders index has declined to 52.0 in June from 56.1 in May.
