Chicago PMI Falls To 56.2 In April - 29-Month Low

The Institute for Supply Management-Chicago said on Monday it index of Midwest business activity fell in April to 56.2 from 62.2 in March, a 29-month low.

Readings over 50 indicate an expansion; below 50, a contraction.
