Four new dashboard camera videos were released Wednesday giving additional details into a black teen’s fatal shooting by a white Chicago police officer, NBC Chicago reported. People gathered on the streets of Chicago Tuesday after the city released an initial video related to the incident.

The latest videos showed 17-year-old Laquan McDonald running in front of the police vehicle of officer Jason Van Dyke, who was charged with McDonald’s murder Tuesday, about half a minute before the fatal shooting. The videos showed about three to four officers reaching the scene after Van Dyke shot McDonald 16 times to death.

While the shooting itself was not in the frame, the videos showed McDonald on the street following the incident, alive just before paramedics arrived, ABC 7 reported. One of the videos reportedly include one from the Van Dyke’s car. According to NBC Chicago, the videos were obtained under the Freedom of Information Act.

Chicago’s black civic, political and religious leaders have urged for reforms and investigations into the city’s police department for its handling of the October 2014 shooting death of the black teenager. The leaders expressed anger at the Chicago Police Department and some have called for the police superintendent’s resignation.

“This situation is not isolated,” said Jedidiah Brown, founder of Chicago’s Young Leaders Alliance. “This is our reality.”

City authorities expressed concerns about possible riots because of the graphic nature of the video. Police Chief Garry McCarthy asked protesters to respond peacefully. "We will be intolerant of criminal behavior in Chicago," McCarthy said at a news conference Tuesday.
