China has arrested a high-level U.S. spy, according to Hong Kong media reports.

The alleged spy, who worked as a private secretary to a vice-minister in the security ministry, was arrested sometime between January and March this year.

Reports said the man had been recruited by the CIA after being caught in a honey trap and photographed during their meetings.
