China still sees risks from euro-zone debt problems and has taken steps to support Europe since last year, the foreign ministry said on Thursday.

China has responded to the problems by maintaining its holdings of euro-denominated debt and encouraging trade, ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu said at a regular news briefing.
