China trade balance surplus narrowed in January

The Chinese trade balance surplus narrowed to $14.17 billion in January compared with a previous surplus of $18.43 billion, and it was anticipated to show a surplus of $20.00 billion. Imports rose 85.5% last month from a year earlier after climbing 55.9%, and it came higher than the forecasted 85.2%. As for yearly exports, it climbed 21.0% less than the forecasted 28.0%, but it came higher than the previous 17.7%.
