RTTNews - China's foreign exchange reserves rose by US$177.87 billion to US$ 2.132 trillion at the end of the second quarter, the People's Bank of China said Wednesday. In the first quarter, the reserves grew by US$7.7 billion.

At the same time, the reserves increased by US$ 42.1 billion in June, while it was up by US$80.6 billion in May.

Meanwhile, the central bank said the M2 money supply, the broadest measure of money supply, climbed 28.46% year-on-year in June.
