A Chinese video game company is now selling raw pork. The company in question, NetEase, is best known in China for its Internet presence. NetEase oversees operations for “World of Warcraft,” Blizzard Entertainment’s popular MMO, in the country. The company also runs its own line of online multiplayer games and a large news portal.

Now NetEase is set to ship pork -- organic pork from pigs the company has raised -- to customers. The idea to sell this organic meat was first announced in 2011 by NetEase’s founder, William Ding. His original plan was to raise pigs and ship their meat products by the end of 2011, but the plan never came full circle.

It seems that the farms are finally ready, and NetEase will begin shipping to a limited number of customers soon.
