The Chinese economy released today data on the trade balance, exports and imports during January. The actual reading of the trade balance showed a value of $6.45 billion compared to the previous reading of $13.10 billion forecasted to be $11.30 billion. The actual reading of exports showed a value of 37.7% compared to the previous reading of 17.9% forecasted to be 22.5%. Whereas the actual reading of imports showed a value of 51.1% compared to the previous reading of 25.6% while forecasted were indicating a value of 27.0%.
