China's trade balance surplus expanded to $22.27 billion during the month of June, compared with a previous surplus of $13.05 billion in May, and the actual reading came higher than the anticipated surplus of $14.20 billion.

Exports rose to 17.9% during the year ended June, from 19.4% a year earlier, and forecasts referred to 18.6%. On the other hand, imports (YoY) inclined 19.3% in June, less than expected 25.3% and the prior reading 28.4%.
