Chinese vehicle sales increase during the first half of the year

Chinese imported car sales have increased by 117% from the past year to 388,200 units in the first half of the year. The Chinese Association of Automobile Manufacturers stated that the monthly sales exceeded 64,700 units, whereas in March imported car sales boosted to 85.000 units.

China's import and export value on vehicles reached $50.7 billion in the first half of the year, which is an increase of 83.8% year on year. Exports increased by 50.2 %($23.4 billion), and imports have jumped to 113% ($27.3 billion).

Chinese home made passenger car sales has increased by 42.8% during the first seven months of the present year, and the sports utility cars doubled its sales. On the other side, China exported 288.900 vehicles which is a 75.3% increase from the same period last year.
