A user of Chinese social networking site Sina Weibo (NASDAQ:WB) has followed up on an earlier post, purportedly about the Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone 6 and posted further details that the person says are the specifications of the smartphone, which is set to be unveiled Tuesday, gforgames.com reported.
Apple will likely release the iPhone 6 at an event that may also include information about a wearable device, possibly, a wristwatch.
The Weibo post has several pictures, screenshots and other details and came from the Weibo user who had previously posted details of an iPhone 6 with a 4.7-inch screen.
The person put the device through Geekbench, a testing platform built by Primate Labs Inc., to determine the specifications. The results, according to the Weibo post, showed the iPhone 6 will have Apple's A8 processor running at a 1.4-gigahertz speed with a 1 gigabyte of RAM, the temporary memory used by processors for various operations.
The phone will also have an 8-megapixel camera, gforgames.com reported, citing the Weibo user who posted the details.
