The Chinese yuan that touched a 2-day low of 9.3055 against the European currency during Thursday's early Asian deals strengthened thereafter. At 11:20 pm ET, the yuan climbed to 9.2597 against the euro, compared to 9.2841 hit late New York Wednesday. The euro-yuan pair is currently trading at 9.2752 with 9.12 seen as the next target level.

The People's Bank of China has set today's central parity rate for the euro-yuan pair at 9.2882.
