Tuesday morning in Asia, the Chinese currency edged higher against the US dollar. The Yuan rose to a 5-day high of 6.8287 against the greenback by 9:50 pm ET, compared to 6.8363 hit late New York Monday. On the upside, the Chinese Yuan may find target near the 6.826 level.

The Peoples Bank of China has set today's central parity rate for the dollar-yuan pair at 6.8296.
