Chris Brown and Drake got into a violent brawl in a New York City nightclub on Thursday. The woman at the center of the storm is none other than R&B superstar Rihanna, who has been romantically linked to both men.

On Thursday night, Drake's entourage reportedly rebuffed Brown's gesture of a bottle of champagne at W.i.P nightclub. Ice chips were thrown at Brown and then a bottle was reportedly thrown from Brown's table into the crowd, according to the New York Times. Then four bottles were thrown from Drake's table, one aimed straight for Brown.

Brown's current girlfriend, Karrueche Tan, suffered a concussion. His bodyguard suffered a huge gash on his head that required 20 stitches, according to the New York Times. A recording of the bloody encounter, which left Brown with a gash on his chin, was caught on video.

Drake supposedly made a derogatory comment to Brown about ex-girlfriend Rihanna. According to a report from the UK's Sun, the bottle Drake threw at Brown included a note reading, I'm f***ing the love of your life deal with it!

But Drake denies any wrongdoing in the incident. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began. He did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property, his rep tells Us Weekly.

Although Rihanna was nowhere to be seen at W.i.P on Thursday night, she had been out gallivanting in NYC earlier in the week.

Of course, she heard about the scuffle. And a source tells Us Weekly that she loves it!

Men fighting over her? Are you kidding? Of course. [She] loves the drama, says the source.

Rihanna got text messages from everybody telling her what happened right after it went down, the source explains to Us Weekly. She just laughed. She's spoken to both of them and just thinks it's crazy. She's glad she wasn't there though!

She wants to be friends with both of them, the source explains.

There is certainly no shortage of drama in Rihanna's love life. On February 8, 2009, Brown and Rihanna, who had been dating at the time, had an argument that escalated into a physical altercation in a car. Rihanna was left with visible facial injuries which required medical attention. He turned himself into police and on August 5 of that year he was sentenced to five years on probation, one year of domestic violence counseling and six months of community service.

Brown apologized profusely for his actions. I'm pretty sure we can always be friends, he told Larry King in September. and I don't know about our relationship, but I just know definitely that we ended as friends.

The latest rumors say that Brown and Rihanna are more than friends. Brown and the Barbadian singer have reportedly been secretly hooking up for more than a year now. Brown attended Rihanna's birthday party in February and the two sang on two new tracks together.

But Rihanna was also briefly romantically linked to Drake after her relationship ended with Brown. The two have collaborated on multiple songs, including Take Care.

When TMZ asked the sultry singer about the nightclub fight, she coyly responded, The Pacquiao fight? I didn't finish watching it.
