Did Chris Evans and ex-girlfriend Jenny Slate rekindled their romance? The actors have yet to confirm anything, but they may have reconciled their differences based on their recent dinner dates.

Just late last week, the former couple turned heads when they were spotted going out for back-to-back dinner dates in Atlanta. The Hollywood actors called it quits early this year after nine months of being together, so it’s a bit strange that they are once again hanging out with each other.

What makes their recent public sightings interesting is the fact that they appear to be a happy with each other’s company again. An eyewitness exclusively told Us Weekly this Tuesday that Evans and Slate “seemed like a couple” when they stepped out to grab dinner in central Atlanta last Friday.

The eyewitness also pointed out how happy the two were during their dinner date. “[They were] laughing. He reached across and touched her arm a couple of times. They seemed like normal people on a date.”

The following night, the 36-year-old “Captain America” actor and the 35-year-old comedienne stepped out once again for another date night. The two reportedly went to Better Half for a dinner with Evans’ good friend and “Avengers” co-star Robert Downey Jr. and his wife Susan.

The people at Better Half had the chance to take some photos with the actors. One picture was even shared on the restaurant’s Instagram account, and it shows Evans and Downey Jr. striking a pose with the crew. “Sometimes we have the chance to feed heroes. Last night, it was these exceptional gents,” the caption for the snap read.

Meanwhile, another eyewitness claimed that Evans and Slate “looked very much together” on their second date night. Both are still mum on the rekindled romance issue though. Nevertheless, it’s good to note that when they broke up in February, the two maintained that their split was “completely amicable” and that they ended their relationship due to “conflicting schedules.”

Slate disclosed in August that even after their split, they remained friendly especially when they promoted their movie, “Gifted,” together. At the time, the “SNL” alum admitted that she still considers her relationship with Evans as something “precious” to her.
