Chris Stapleton is continuing to pick up trophies at the CMA Awards Wednesday. The 37-year-old “Tennessee Whiskey” singer took to the stage for the third time to accept the award for Album of the Year for “Traveller.”

Stapleton had the crowd roaring at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville when it was announced that he had beat Jason Aldean, Kacey Musgraves, Little Big Town and Kenny Chesney. But no one was more excited than Stapleton’s wife, Morgane Stapleton.

Morgane grabbed her husband for a sweet kiss before he took to the stage with producer Dave Cobb to accept the Album of the Year award. She stayed standing throughout Stapleton’s entire acceptance speech, teary eyed and clapping for her beau.

Chris and Morgane Stapleton have been married for eight years and have two children together. The songwriters met through a friend at Sea Gayle Music and their first date involved writing a song together. According to The Tennessean, Morgane even had a role in her husband’s debut solo album. The couple embarked on a road trip in 2013 to drive a 1979 Jeep from Arizona to Nashville. The trip wasn’t an easy one, but it helped distract Stapleton from the failure of his first single and the death of his father. The result was Stapleton finding the inspiration for his song “Traveller.”

Morgane isn’t just a support system for her husband. She’s also a backup vocalist for him. While she was in the audience as Stapleton accepted his award, she joined him on stage earlier in the night when he performed with Justin Timberlake. Watch her sing alongside her husband and Timberlake below:
