Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s baby girl is here! The model and new mom announced the arrival of her daughter Sunday in an Instagram post, revealing that she was born Thursday, April 14 and weighed 6 pounds and 11 ounces.

Teigen and Legend (real name John Rogers Stephens) haven’t revealed a photo of their baby girl yet but did announce her name: Luna Simone Stephens. “She’s here!” Teigen captioned a photo taken at the hospital, adding “We’re so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy.”

Teigen and Legend, who have been married since 2013, announced they were expecting in October after she underwent In vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments. As previously reported, the 30-year-old model caused some controversy during her pregnancy when she revealed that she chose to have a daughter instead of a son.

Opening up about the process of getting IVF, Teigen told People magazine, “Not only am I having a girl, but I picked the girl from her little embryo. I picked her and was like, ‘Let’s put in the girl.’”

When she started to receive backlash for her comments, the Sports Illustrated model fired back, tweeting that she didn’t understand why people were so upset over her decision. “This is all so interesting. I said it so causally because I’m just open,” she wrote. “I’m around so many open-minded people and forgot it’s controversial.”

She then jokingly added, “I also picked the embryo with a taste for bacon, a knack for magic and size 7 feet so she can always find shoes.”
