Just hours after "The Voice" singer Christina Grimmie’s slaying in Orlando, Florida, after a Friday night concert, an ominous message popped up on her Twitter page. On Saturday afternoon someone with access to the late singer’s account posted a tweet that simply read, “The end.”

Some fans speculated that Grimmie’s management posted the eerie tweet, while others believed her account had been hacked. Not long after the tweet was posted, it was removed from her account and a rep for Grimmie told People magazine that her management was not behind the post and Grimmie’s account had been compromised. There’s no word on who was behind the tweet, but it’s the latest in a string of celebrity hacks.

As previously reported, Grimmie, who appeared on NBC’s “The Voice” on Season 6 in 2014, was fatally shot following a show she did with the band Before You Exit at the Plaza Live Theater in Orlando. The singer, 22, was said to have been signing autographs and posing for photos with fans when a man -- identified by police as Kevin James Loibl -- walked up to her and shot her. Grimmie’s brother reportedly tackled the shooter, but the suspect shot and killed himself, authorities said. Grimmie died from her injuries early Saturday morning.

During a news conference, Orlando police said the man traveled from another city in Florida to Grimmie’s show with a motive to kill her. Police do not believe Grimmie and the shooter knew each other, and they are still trying to determine a motive for the killing. Police identified the shooter as Loibl in a tweet after the news conference.

Following news of her death, several of “The Voice” coaches tweeted their condolences. “Behati and I are absolutely devastated and heartbroken by Christina Grimmie’s death,” singer Adam Levine tweeted. “Our hearts go out to her family.” Blake Shelton wrote that he was “stunned and disgusted and heartbroken” over Grimmie’s death. “Keeping @TheRealGrimmie family in my heart and mind,” he tweeted. Christina Aguilera also commented on the news, writing, “So sad passing of @TheRealGrimmie. Beautiful member of #TheVoice family & true #Fighter. My heart goes out to her family, friends & fans. Xo.”
