Christy Mack reportedly wants to return to the adult entertainment business after healing from a brutal assault that left the 23-year-old with 18 broken facial bones, missing teeth, a ruptured liver and bruises all over her body.

“She has a long road ahead of her to heal but she knows that when she is 100 percent healthy, she will return to porn,” a source told HollywoodLife.com. “With all the news on her and this situation, she knows that people will be more interested in her work and she will take advantage of that and get some great pay days out if it.”

Mack has won a slew of awards for her work in pornography, including an AVN Award for Most Promising New Starlet and a XBIZ Award for Best New Starlet in 2014. A fundraiser to help with her medical bills was started by Kendall Karson, another adult entertainer. "There is NEVER any situation or excuse that justifies violence against a woman!” the campaign reads, in part. “Our thoughts and prayers are with you Christy as you recover. Stay strong.” With a goal of $100,000, more than $58,000 was raised by Thursday evening.

It is believed Mack’s ex-boyfriend War Machine, a mixed martial artist whose real name is Jon Koppenhaver, is responsible for her injuries. His whereabouts are currently unknown and a $20,000 reward for his return has been issued. Half of the money was put up by Mack and the other half was donated by Corey Harrison from the hit show "Pawn Stars." The Las Vegas Police Department has seven warrants out for his arrest.

Mack recently thanked her fans on Twitter for their encouragement. “I would like to thank everyone for the support and kind thoughts over the past few days,” she tweeted Tuesday. “I will never be able to express my gratitude.”
